East India Pharmaceutical Works

We are located over at 119 Biren Roy Road East. It’s an old building, and you can tell it’s seen better days, but it works for what we do. Being East India Pharmaceutical Works means we have a lot of history tied to this area. Most people around Biren Roy Road know where the gates are. Inside, it’s a lot of paper shuffling and making sure the production side of things is actually moving along. We have a crew that’s been here forever, and some of the guys know the machines better than they know their own kitchens. It gets loud sometimes, and the smell of chemicals and cleaning fluid is just part of the air we breathe. We don't have any of those modern glass offices; it's mostly wooden desks and old filing cabinets that stick when you pull them. The logistics of getting stuff in and out of this part of town can be tricky with the narrow roads and the trucks, but we make it work somehow. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest company out there. We just focus on getting the medicine made and out the door to the people who are waiting for it. The tea break is the highlight of the afternoon for most of us. It’s just a regular workplace with regular people trying to do their jobs right every single day.
