Dutta Exim Consultant

Dutta Exim Consultant is based out of 26 Das Para Lane in the Chatra area of Srirampur. We are in the Hooghly district of West Bengal, which is a place with a lot of history. Our work is mostly about helping people with the rules for importing and exporting goods. There is a lot of red tape in this business, and we spend our time filling out forms and talking to customs agents. It’s a lot of small details that you have to get exactly right or else a shipment gets stuck at the port. The office is a simple room in Srirampur where we keep all the latest guidebooks and records. We’ve been at this for a long time, so we’ve seen all sorts of items come and go. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important for the local businesses that want to sell things outside of India. We often have to travel down to the city or the docks, but 26 Das Para Lane is where we do all the hard thinking and drafting. The neighbors know us as the people who are always buried in paperwork. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just know how the system works and we help our clients navigate it so they don't have any headaches with their shipments. It takes a lot of patience, but we’re used to the pace of it.
