Dusap Pharmaceuticals

We are located at 34C, Colootola Street, which is right off Chittaranjan Avenue. If you know the area, you know we are very close to the Medical College. It’s an incredibly busy part of the city with people everywhere, all the time. Dusap Pharmaceuticals is right in the thick of it. Our building is one of those old ones with high ceilings and thick walls that hold the heat during the afternoon. We have to keep several fans going just to breathe properly. Because we are near the hospital, there is always a sense of urgency in the air. We are constantly loading and unloading small vans that pull up at the curb. It’s a struggle to find parking, so we have to move fast before someone starts honking. Inside, the space is packed to the roof. We use every inch of wall space for storage. There is a small sink in the back that leaks a little bit, so we keep a bucket under it. It’s not a fancy office with carpets and expensive art. It’s a working warehouse and distribution point. We eat our lunch at our desks most days because there’s too much to do. We talk to a lot of delivery drivers and shop owners every day. Everyone is usually in a rush, but we try to be steady. We’ve been at this address long enough that we don't even notice the sirens from the ambulances anymore. It’s just the background noise of our daily life and we wouldn't change it.
