Drug Point

Drug Point is located at 96/1A K Mukherjee Road, right in the Lal Quarter neighborhood. It’s a busy street with plenty of other shops around us. We’ve been running this pharmacy for quite a while now and many of the people who live nearby are our regulars. The shop has a large glass front, but we have so many posters and notices on it that you can’t see in very well. Inside, we have rows of medicine organized by type, though sometimes things get moved around when we're in a hurry. The counter is where we spend most of our time, talking to customers and figuring out their prescriptions. It can be a bit loud outside with the traffic on K Mukherjee Road, but we’re used to it. We keep a small fridge in the back for the medicines that need to stay cold. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use the generator, which makes a lot of noise. We aren't a big chain, just a local spot where you can get what you need without a lot of fuss. The shelves are a bit dusty on the top where we can’t reach easily, but the products are all kept in good order. It’s a straightforward business. We open early and stay until the last few customers finish their shopping in the evening. We try to stock everything from basic bandages to specialized tablets that the hospital down the road recommends.
