Dlf Laing O'Rourke (I) Ltd

We’ve got a bit of a split situation going on. Dlf Laing O'Rourke (I) Ltd has a presence at Navkranti Apartment in Patparganj, New Delhi, but we also deal with things over in Salt Lake, Kolkata. It means some of us are always moving between the two cities or trying to coordinate across the distance. The Patparganj office is in Flat No 51 at Plot No 75, and it’s a pretty standard apartment setup. It doesn't feel like a big business office; it feels more like a home where work happens to be done. We have boxes of files in the corners and the dining table is usually covered in drawings. When we are dealing with the Salt Lake side, things can get a bit hectic trying to keep everyone on the same page. The Kolkata office is over in En-15, Sector-V, which is a busy area with lots of other companies around. We try to keep it simple and avoid making things more complicated than they need to be. There’s always someone on the phone or typing away on a laptop. We don’t have a big reception desk or a person to greet you. You just walk in and find whoever is available. It’s a bit of a juggling act sometimes, but we’ve managed to make it work for a while now. We just focus on the daily tasks and try to keep everything moving.
