Down at 26, P.K. Tagore Street, that’s where you’ll find Dhananjai Apparal. We are right in Kolkata, specifically the 700006 area. It’s an old part of the city. The streets are narrow and usually full of people. We’ve been working out of this building for quite some time now. Kolkata has a certain way of doing things, and we fit right into that. Our focus is on apparel. We have machines and fabric everywhere inside. It gets a bit loud when everything is running. P.K. Tagore Street is famous for a lot of history, but for us, it’s just where we work every day. We don't have a corporate lobby or anything like that. You walk in and see the work happening right there. It’s honest work. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big order to finish. The weather in Kolkata can be tough, especially the humidity, but we’re used to it. Dhananjai Apparal is a small-scale operation compared to the giants, but we stay busy. People know us in the neighborhood. We aren't big on advertising. Most of our business comes from people just knowing where we are. 26 is the house number, easy to remember. We keep the space as organized as we can, though with clothes and threads, it’s always a bit of a mess. It’s a real place with real people working hard. We’re just glad to be part of the local scene here.
