Desun Hospital And Heart Institute is our workplace, located at Desun More near Kasba Golpark. Being right by the EM Bypass means we see a lot of the city’s movement every day. The building is large and has a lot of different sections to it. We spend most of our time in the various wards and offices. It’s a place of constant motion. The sounds of the machines and the chatter of people fill the halls from morning until night. We have a small area where we keep our coats and bags. The floors are a pale color and they get cleaned several times a day to keep the dust down from the EM Bypass. Kasba Golpark is a busy hub, and you can feel that energy even inside the walls. We don’t really have any fancy furniture, just the standard desks and chairs that get the job done. Sometimes the elevators take a while, so we end up taking the stairs to save time. It’s a lot of steps every day. From the windows, you can see the flyover and the people waiting for buses at the more. We know the regular tea sellers outside by name. It’s a community here, even if it’s a big, loud one. We just focus on our tasks and try to make sure everything is in its right place. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do here in this corner of the city.
