Speed Age Hospital

You can find us at 848 E Block A in Lake Town. Kolkata is a big city, but Lake Town has its own feel, and we’ve been part of it for a while. We call ourselves Speed Age Hospital, though we aren't a massive skyscraper or anything like that. We are a local place where people come when they feel under the weather or have a small emergency. The building is a bit older, and the paint might be peeling a little in the corners, but we keep the rooms clean. We have a few beds and some doctors who come in on shifts. It can get pretty hectic in the evenings when everyone gets off work. We handle a lot of different things, from fevers to basic checkups. The staff here has been together for a few years, so we know how each other works. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background. It’s a practical place. We don’t have fancy waiting rooms with leather couches, just the standard plastic chairs. People in the neighborhood know us by name, and we know them too. Sometimes we run out of certain forms and have to scramble to print more. That’s just how it goes in a small hospital. We just try to help the people who walk through the door at E Block. It is a bit noisy sometimes with the traffic, but we manage.
