South Heart Clinic

South Heart Clinic is situated at No. 8/28 in Sahid Nagar. If you know where the Axis Bank is on the Prince Anwar Shah Road Connector, we are basically right across from that. It is a busy road, so finding a spot to park can be a bit of a headache some days. We’ve been here for a while now, focusing on heart-related checkups and the usual tests that go with that. The clinic isn't very large, but we have enough room for the basic machines and a couple of consultation rooms. It feels like a very local spot. People from Sahid Nagar and the surrounding blocks just walk over. We spend a lot of time looking at ECG reports and talking to folks about their diet or how their medicine is working. It isn't a fancy hospital with hundreds of beds. It is just a small clinic where we focus on one thing. The walls are a plain color and we have a few old magazines in the waiting area that nobody really reads anymore. Sometimes the tea lady from next door brings us snacks in the afternoon. It is a steady pace of work. We see the same faces quite often, which is nice. Most of the day is just spent following the appointments and making sure the files are in the right place. It can get a bit stuffy in the summer, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving well enough for everyone who comes in.
