Our place is at 241, Block B, over by the VIP Crossing in Kolkata. If you know that intersection, you know how much traffic there is almost all the time. It is a central spot which makes it easy for people to find us even if they aren't from this exact block. We’ve been here for a bit now and the routine stays mostly the same. The morning starts with checking the supplies and making sure the desks are clear. People usually start showing up around nine or ten. Some are in a hurry because of work, while others take their time. We hear the honking from the crossing all day long, it’s like background music for us. The office itself is pretty straightforward with plain walls and regular furniture. There isn't much decoration because we focus on the work at hand. Sometimes the air conditioner acts up, but we manage. It’s a busy life here in 700089. We know the tea seller nearby quite well since we get our morning cups from there. It’s just a group of us working together and trying to keep everything organized. Nothing too complicated or flashy about it. We see a lot of different people every day and everyone has a story or a complaint about the Kolkata heat. It keeps the day interesting for everyone involved. The glass on the front door gets smudged, but we clean it when we can. That’s just life here.
