We are located down in Calcutta on Mahendra Banerjee Road. The house number is 35/6, right in the 700 060 zip code area. Desein Pvt. Ltd has been operating out of this part of the city for quite a while now. If you know the area, you know it has that old Calcutta feel to it. It is crowded and the streets can be narrow, but there is a lot of character here. Our office is a bit old-fashioned. We still have a lot of paper files and heavy desks that have been here since we started. It is a bit dusty sometimes, but it is a working office, not a showroom. We focus on engineering services and helping out with industrial projects. The staff here mostly takes the bus or walks in. We have a routine that has not changed much over the years. We start early, deal with the heat as best as we can, and get through the paperwork. It is a lot of technical work that requires a lot of patience. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult with the local roads, but we still show up. We do not have a big marketing department or anything. People usually find us because they know the work we do. It is just a small group of us trying to make a living and keep the projects moving forward in West Bengal. We don’t do anything fancy, we just do the job.
