Dawn & Brothers

Down here at 152/1, G. L. T. Road, things stay pretty busy. We are right in Baranagar, and having the ISI right beside us means there are always people walking past. Dawn & Brothers has been here at this spot for quite a while. The building isn't the newest on the block, but it serves its purpose for us. We spend a lot of time just managing the inventory and talking to the people who drop by. G.L.T. Road is one of those streets that never seems to go quiet, even late in the afternoon. You can hear the tea stalls starting up early in the morning. We usually open the doors and start sorting through things before the sun gets too high. It’s a straightforward kind of place. No one here is wearing a suit or trying to act like they are in a high-rise. We mostly just deal with the daily chores that keep the business running. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped inside with all the stuff we have to keep track of, but we make it work. The proximity to the institute means we see a lot of students and staff members passing by our entrance at 152/1. It’s a neighborhood where everyone kind of recognizes each other after a while. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing at Dawn & Brothers. It's a simple life and we are okay with that.
