Our workshop is tucked away at 15 Nanda Mullick Lane in the Ram Bagan area. It’s one of those narrow Kolkata streets where you have to be careful when walking. Being near the Girish Park Metro is a big help because getting around this part of the city can be a real headache otherwise. The building is old, like most things around here, but it holds up well. Inside, there is always something going on. We have tools scattered around and piles of material waiting to be processed. It gets pretty humid in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running at full speed. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or ask for a small favor. It’s that kind of neighborhood. We aren't a giant factory with hundreds of people. It’s just us, working in this small corner of the city. We’ve seen the area change over the years, with new shops opening up and the metro getting busier every day. We just keep our heads down and focus on the orders we have. The floors are a bit uneven and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s our space. We know where everything is, from the smallest screw to the heavy machinery. It’s a bit messy, but that’s how we like it because it means we are actually working. We don't have a big reception area or anything formal. Just a work site.
