We've been at 1, British Indian Street for a good while now. D. G. T. Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is just a group of us working on technical projects. It's an old part of the city, and the office reflects that. We deal with various engineering bits and pieces. Most days it's just about getting the drawings right and making sure the machines do what they're supposed to. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit messy, but we're used to it. People drop by when they need something fixed or planned out. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just desks, computers, and a lot of paper. It gets busy, especially in the afternoons when the heat picks up. We try to keep things moving. It isn't always smooth, but we get there. If you know where the old buildings are around here, you'll find us easily enough. We've seen the neighborhood change over the years. Some businesses left, others came in. We just stayed put. There's always a lot of noise outside, but once you're inside, it's just the sound of work happening. We don't spend much time on decorations. Most of the walls are covered with old calendars or project notes. It's a practical place for practical work. We've known the tea stall owner nearby for ages. That's usually where we end up talking about the day's problems. It's just how we operate. We don't use much fancy software for the simple things.
