You can find us at 7-A, A.J.C. Bose Road. We go by Crystal Refrigeration (P) Ltd., though most folks just call us Crystal. Being on A.J.C. Bose Road means there’s always noise outside, but we’re used to it by now. The office is pretty basic. We’ve got a couple of desks and a lot of filing cabinets filled with old invoices and technical manuals. We handle a lot of cooling systems for different buildings. It isn't just about selling things; it's mostly about keeping them running when the weather gets bad. We have a small crew that knows the city well. Sometimes the traffic makes it hard to get to a site quickly, but we try our best to stay on schedule. The phone rings a lot, especially in the summer months when everything seems to break at once. We don't have a big flashy showroom. It's mostly just a workspace where we figure out how to fix things. People come in with parts that look like they’re thirty years old, and we see what we can do. It's steady work. We’ve been at this location for a long time, and we know the quirks of the older buildings around here. It’s a lot of manual labor and checking gauges. We don't use much technology besides what we need for the job. It's just a regular business doing regular work every day for local people. Most of the time, the tea is cold and the paperwork is piled high.
