We are located over at 23 Ganesh Chandra Avenue. It’s an old building, typical for this part of the city. We’ve been making springs and doing engineering work for a long time. The office has those high ceilings and heavy wooden desks that have been here forever. Most of our work is about getting the specs right for the orders that come in. It’s a lot of measuring and checking. We have people who have worked here for thirty years and they know exactly how the machines run. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team that goes out. Usually, someone calls us because they have a specific need for a spring they can't find anywhere else. The street outside is always noisy with traffic and people shouting, but inside we just focus on the ledger books and the technical drawings. We take our time with things. We aren't in a rush to grow or move to a modern glass building. This place suits us just fine. We have our routine and we stick to it. Sometimes the tea man comes around and that’s when we take a break. Otherwise, it’s just the sound of pens on paper and the occasional phone call. We've survived all the changes in the industry by just doing what we know how to do. It’s a bit dusty in here, and the filing cabinets are overflowing, but we know where every single order is.
