We are based in Kolkata, specifically at UV 14/2C over in Survey Park. We are part of the Udayan area, near 1050/1 Survey Park. It is a decent neighborhood with a mix of homes and small businesses like ours. Our office is fairly quiet, which helps when we are trying to focus on technical techniques and planning out our work. We have a few desks pushed together and some shelves that are completely overflowing with manuals and old notebooks. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know exactly where everything is when we need it. The morning usually starts with a bit of cleaning and getting the computers logged in. Kolkata has its own rhythm, and we definitely feel that here. We take our tea breaks pretty seriously, usually heading out to the corner for a bit of fresh air. It’s a small operation, so there isn't any corporate hierarchy to deal with. We just talk things through and figure out the best way to handle whatever comes through the door. Sometimes the monsoon rains make it a bit difficult to get things done, especially if the street floods a little, but we just adapt and keep going. We aren't interested in being the biggest company out there. We just want to do good work in our corner of Survey Park and keep the business running smoothly for everyone involved in our day-to-day activities.
