You can find our office at 10/4/2, Nepal Bhattacharya Street in Kolkata, with the pincode 700 026. This is a very old part of the city, and the street is quite narrow and full of life. We run Chr Global Hr Services out of this building, which has these thick walls that help a bit with the heat. It is not like the modern offices you see in the new parts of town. We have a lot of metal cabinets where we keep all our files because there is always so much paperwork to handle with human resources stuff. The desks are just regular tables we have pushed together so we can all talk easily. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea throughout the day. You can always hear the sounds of the street outside, like the rickshaws and people talking, which reminds us we are right in the middle of everything. We don't have any big signs or posters, just a small nameplate on the door so people know they have the right place. It is a simple setup and we like it that way. Most of the day is spent on the phone or going through resumes. We don't have any corporate rules about what to wear or how to sit. It’s just a group of us working in a space that feels like it’s been part of the neighborhood for years.
