Chakrabarti & Gangopadhyay Chartered Accountants

We are over at 4/1 Green Avenue in the Santoshpur area. Chakrabarti and Gangopadhyay started this practice a while back because we wanted a place to work close to home. Kolkata is a big city, but Santoshpur feels like its own little world sometimes. Our office is just a regular spot in the 700075 area where we keep all the files and computers. We spend most of our mornings checking through accounts and making sure the entries are right. It is quiet for the most part, except for the sound of the fans and the occasional car passing by on Green Avenue. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. If you come by, you'll probably just see one of us working at a desk. We handle a lot of the usual stuff like income tax and company audits for local businesses around here. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy enough. We don't really use big words or try to act like we're more than we are. We are just two people who know how to handle money stuff and paperwork. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with all the paper, but we know where everything is. People in the neighborhood know us, and we like it that way. No need for anything complicated. We just open up in the morning, do the work, and go home when it’s finished.
