You can find Career Connect India Private Ltd over on the Rajendra Nath Sarkhel School Bye Lane. It’s right in the South Rabindra Nagar part of Dum Dum Cantonment. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty busy around the school, especially in the mornings. We have been here in Kolkata for a bit, just trying to help people figure out their next steps with work. It is a simple setup we have going. We aren’t a big fancy agency with people in suits. Most of the time, it’s just us sitting around the desks, looking through papers and talking to folks who walk in looking for a change in their career. The office is easy to miss if you don't look for the number 5 on the gate. It's a quiet little pocket of the city compared to the main roads. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking emails, trying to see who is hiring and who needs a job. It gets a bit hectic when a lot of people come in at once, but we manage. We don’t have any big slogans or anything like that. We just look at what someone can do and see where they might fit. It’s practical work. Sometimes the tea stall down the lane is the best place to talk things over. We just want to make sure people in Dum Dum and nearby have a place to come to and ask questions.
