Calcutta Overseas Corporation is located at No. 16 India Exchange Place. If you come to the building, you have to go up to the Second Floor and look for Room No. 5. It’s a busy building with a lot of other businesses around us. India Exchange Place is a well-known area and it stays crowded from morning until evening. Our room is just a basic workspace. We have some desks, some chairs, and plenty of ledgers. Room No. 5 isn't very large but we make it work for everything we do. We spend our hours here dealing with whatever comes in the mail or over the phone. The second floor stays a bit cooler than the street but it still gets warm in the afternoons. We’ve gotten to know the other people in the building over the years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get through our work every day. Calcutta Overseas Corporation has its roots right here at No. 16. It’s a steady place to be. We don't have any fancy signs or big advertisements. Most people just know where we are. We just keep our heads down and handle the business at hand. Room No. 5 is where we feel most comfortable. It’s just how things are for us and we like the routine of it all.
