We have been sitting at our office on Canal Road for a good while now. It's just a regular spot in New Alipore where we handle the books and tax stuff for folks around here. The office isn't anything fancy, just some desks and a lot of paper. Most days it's just us working through files and answering the phone when it rings. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit from our windows at number 3. People stop by when they need help with their filings or just have a question about some form they got in the mail. It gets a bit busy around tax season, as you can imagine, but we try to keep things moving. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people, just a small team trying to get the math right. Usually, there's tea going and someone is typing away in the corner. If you're walking down Canal Road, you’ll find us easily enough. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or other shop owners nearby. It’s a quiet place to work, really. We just focus on the numbers and making sure everything is filed where it belongs. That is pretty much the way we have always done things here. It works for us and the people who come to see us. Just a local place doing what needs doing every day and staying on top of the paperwork.
