C. D. Engineering

C. D. Engineering is located at 189/B in East Kadalia. This is part of New Barrackpur, and it’s a fairly straightforward area to navigate once you’re here. The workshop is where we spend most of our hours. It’s a brick-and-mortar kind of place, nothing too modern or flashy. We have the machines set up in a way that makes sense for the flow of work. Some of the equipment has been with us for years, and we know exactly how each one sounds when it’s running right. The neighborhood is mostly quiet compared to the city center, which is nice. We have a few neighbors who also do technical work, so there’s a bit of a community feel. We don't spend much on advertising or anything like that; word of mouth usually brings people to East Kadalia. The floor is often covered in small metal scraps or grease marks, but that just shows we’ve been working. We keep a small area for paperwork and a place to sit and have tea during breaks. It’s just a regular engineering setup. We don't have a big staff, just a handful of us who know the trade. Our days are filled with the sound of tools and the smell of metal. It’s a decent way to spend the day, and we’re happy to be part of the New Barrackpur landscape.
