Kolkata is a city with so much personality, and our little spot in Om Towers is no different. It’s a solid building, and we’ve set up our workspace to be as functional as we can make it. Flata 104 isn't a massive space, but we’ve managed to fit in all the gear we need for our engineering and consulting work. There are stacks of papers and technical maps pretty much everywhere you look. It’s the kind of place where you have to be careful where you walk so you don’t trip over a stray cable or a box of files. We’ve been working out of here for a while now, and the walls are covered in notes and old project calendars. The neighborhood around Biren Roy Road is always busy, and there’s always somewhere to grab a quick bite. We don't have a fancy receptionist; usually, whoever isn't on the phone just answers the door. We really focus on the technical side and don't worry about making the office look like a showroom. It’s a real working office. We spend our days on computers and talking through project details with each other. The air conditioning is always running, which is a must for the Kolkata heat. We like it here because it feels like we’re right in the middle of things.
