Brainware Computer Academy

Our academy is tucked away at 128, Chanditala Branch Road here in Kolkata. If you’ve ever walked down this street, you know it can get pretty crowded. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of computers and students trying to figure things out. We started this because there was a need for people in the neighborhood to learn how to use PCs properly without going too far into the city. It’s not a massive university or anything like that. We have some classrooms, some old chairs, and enough screens to keep everyone busy during their sessions. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but that’s just life in Kolkata 700053. We spend our time explaining basic software, typing, and how to navigate the web. Some students are really quick, while others need a bit more time to get the hang of a mouse. We don't have a big marketing team or a shiny lobby. It’s just us and the students. Usually, there’s a bit of tea being shared in the back during breaks. We see people from all walks of life coming through that door wanting to improve their chances at a better job. It feels good to see someone finally understand a piece of code or finish a project they were struggling with for days. It’s a simple setup, but it works for what we do in our corner of the city.
