Boris Import & Export Company

Our office for Boris Import & Export Company is at 3/2 Bagat Singh Marg. It’s a decent-sized room on a street that stays pretty busy throughout the day. We have a couple of large windows that let in some light, though they’re usually a bit dusty from the road traffic. The furniture is a mix of stuff we’ve picked up over the years, so nothing really matches. We’ve got a big wooden desk where most of the planning happens and a smaller one for the accounts. The name Boris sometimes makes people curious, but it’s just the name we’ve always used. We handle all kinds of goods coming in and going out. It’s a lot of checking lists and making sure the trucks are on time. Sometimes a shipment gets delayed and we have to spend the whole afternoon on the phone trying to find out where it is. It’s not glamorous work, but it keeps us busy. We have a small pantry in the back where we keep the biscuits and the tea leaves. The floor is a bit scuffed from moving boxes around, but we don't mind. It feels like a place where real work happens. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to make us look fancy. It’s just us, the inventory, and the daily tasks that need to be finished before we head home in the evening.
