Bharat Pharmaceuticals

Bharat Pharmaceuticals is based at 14 A Canal Steat, right where the road curves a bit near the water. It’s a functional building, nothing too modern or flashy about it. We’ve been here long enough that the walls could probably tell a few stories. We handle a range of pharmaceutical products, mostly just standard stuff that pharmacies need. The street outside, Canal Steat, can get really congested with trucks and carts, especially in the mornings. Sometimes it takes the delivery drivers forever just to get to our door. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of shelves and a small area where we do the paperwork. We use an old computer for the accounts, and it’s a bit slow, but it gets the job done eventually. There are four of us working here full-time. We don't have fancy titles or anything. We all just do whatever needs doing, whether it’s checking labels or sweeping the floor. It’s a steady kind of life. We don’t have big meetings or talk about growth strategies. We just focus on making sure the right boxes get to the right people without too many mistakes. Sometimes we get the names mixed up on the orders, but we always fix it. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep things moving. We don't have any big plans to change things; we like the way it works here at number 14 A.
