Bharat Engineers & Traders

Bharat Engineers & Traders is situated at 65/1 Maharshi Debendra Road. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s old and the streets are very narrow. We’ve been in this building for a long time. The walls are thick and the ceilings are high, which helps a bit when it gets hot outside. We do a mix of things here, some engineering work and some trading on the side. Our office is full of old ledgers and metal parts that have been sitting around for years. It’s a bit of a maze, honestly. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on the people who have been coming to us for decades. The noise from the street is constant—horns honking and carts rattling by. We mostly sit at our wooden desks and handle whatever comes through the door. Sometimes it’s a specific part someone needs, other times it’s just a question. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll just see us working. We like it that way. It’s a traditional way of doing business, I suppose. We don't use much technology besides the basics. We just focus on the parts and the trades. It’s a bit dusty and cramped, but it’s our home. We don't have a sign that lights up at night or anything like that. People find us because they know where 65/1 is. We just keep our heads down and trade.
