Bentley Systems India P Ltd Formerly Research Engineers

We are located at 80 3 Brahmo Samaj Road in the Behala area of Kolkata. It’s a well-known neighborhood and we’ve been here since the time we were known as Research Engineers before becoming part of Bentley Systems India P Ltd. The office is tucked away in a busy street where you can always find people walking by or street vendors selling snacks. It’s got that classic West Bengal feel to it. The building itself has some history and we’ve filled the rooms with our desks and all the technical gear we need. It can get a bit humid in the summer months, but we have the fans going and we just get on with our tasks. We don’t have a fancy corporate structure where you can’t talk to the boss. Everyone sits together and we just discuss things as they come up. Most days are spent looking at engineering data or talking to clients on the phone. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to act like we are better than any other local business. We are just a group of people who enjoy what we do and want to make sure the work is accurate. Being in Behala makes it easy to grab lunch at one of the local spots nearby. It’s a decent, honest place to work and we’ve been part of the community here for years without much change.
