Bengal Drugs

Bengal Drugs is located at 12 A Uttar Bhabanipur in Kalyani. We are quite close to Jis Engineering College, which is a major landmark for anyone in this area. Being near a college means we see a lot of students and staff throughout the day. The neighborhood of Uttar Bhabanipur is mostly quiet compared to the main city, which we like. Our shop is a straightforward place. We have the usual medicine racks and a cold storage unit for things like insulin. Every morning we sweep the front step and get the lights turned on. We spend time looking at the stock to see what is running low. Since we are in Kalyani, we get our supplies from the city, and we have to plan ahead so we don't run out of the basics. The shop has a large front window where we put some of the daily health items. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. Sometimes the college students come in for simple things like vitamins or first aid supplies. It is a regular routine of checking prescriptions and helping out the local people who live in the surrounding streets. We have been in this spot for a bit and we know the rhythms of the area well, like when the classes end and the street gets busier in the late afternoon hours.
