Becon Engineering Corporation

Becon Engineering Corporation is located on the first floor at 37, Netaji Subhas Road. It’s an old building, which is pretty common for this part of the city. You have to walk up the stairs, and it can be a bit dark in the hallway, but our office is right there. We’ve been operating from this same spot for many years. We deal with engineering parts and equipment, mostly for industrial use. The office is usually filled with stacks of ledgers and old catalogues from different manufacturers. It’s not the most modern-looking place, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and trying to track down specific items for our customers. Netaji Subhas Road is always crowded, so just getting into the building in the morning can be a bit of a struggle with all the people and carts moving around. We don't have a big showroom; it’s more of a place where we manage the technical side of things and handle orders. Most of our clients have been coming to us for decades because they know we’ve been in the same spot forever. We just do our work, keep track of our files, and make sure we provide the parts that are asked for. It’s a steady kind of life here, even if the building is a bit drafty and the street noise never really stops.
