B.B. Engineering Works

B.B. Engineering Works has been at 166/22, B.T. Road for as long as most people can remember. We are located in the Ashokegarh (E) area, which is a pretty industrial part of town. The sound of machines running and metal hitting metal is just part of the background noise for us. We aren't a big factory with thousands of employees. It’s just a small shop where we get our hands dirty every single day. We do a lot of welding, lathe work, and general repairs on heavy machinery. B.T. Road is always loud and busy, with trucks constantly passing by, but we’ve gotten used to it. Our shop isn't the cleanest place you’ll ever see. There are metal shavings on the floor and oil on the workbenches, but that’s how a real engineering works looks. We don't use fancy brochures to get business. People in Ashokegarh just know that if something breaks or needs to be fabricated, they can bring it to us. We’ve seen a lot of changes on B.T. Road over the years, but our little corner has stayed pretty much the same. We just keep our heads down and focus on the job in front of us. It’s not glamorous, but it’s important work that keeps other businesses running. If you need something fixed, you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't currently under a machine.
