Down on Barasat Road, things move pretty quickly with all the trucks and traffic. Jibok Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. is right in the middle of it at number 26 5/4. Our day usually starts early with crates arriving and others being loaded up. It is a lot of logistics, making sure the right boxes go to the right pharmacies or clinics. We spend a lot of time checking labels and expiration dates. The office part of the building is usually full of files and people on the phone talking to suppliers. It isn't a glamorous business, but it is important to get the medicine where it needs to go. We have a small crew and everyone knows their role, whether it is counting inventory or handling the billing. Sometimes the warehouse gets a bit cramped when a big shipment comes in at once. We have had to reorganize the shelves more times than I can count. The humidity in the summer can be a real pain for storage, so we are always checking the fans and the seals on the doors. We aren't a giant corporation with thousands of employees. We are just a local team making sure the supply chain doesn't break down on our watch. It involves a lot of clipboards and pens that always seem to go missing. We just show up, do the work, and make sure everything is packed securely before the sun goes down. There is not much more to it than that.
