Our setup is in Mandakini Apartment, which is on VIP Road in the Shashtri Bagan area. We are near VIP Sweets, which is a good spot to tell people when they are trying to find us. Jora Mandir is also quite close by. Working out of an apartment building is a bit different than a regular office block. It feels a bit more like home, but we still have all our export stuff crammed in there. We have desks in the main room and the bedrooms have been turned into storage for samples and files. VIP Road is always busy with cars going to the airport. You can hear the traffic all the time. We do a lot of international work, so the phone rings at weird hours sometimes. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small plate with the name. Most of the people in the building know us. We keep things simple here. There’s no dress code or corporate rules. We just make sure the export documents are correct and the goods get to the airport on time. Sometimes we go down to the sweets shop to get something for the office when we have a good day. It is just a small operation running out of a flat, and we like the neighborhood quite a bit because everything is nearby.
