Avitrexim Pvt. Ltd. is based on the 7th floor of No. 18/1 on M. D. Road. Being up so high gives us a bit of a view of the city, but the lift in this building is quite old and moves very slowly. Sometimes it is faster to just walk, though seven floors is a lot for most of us. Our office is a bit crowded because we have been here for a long time and have collected a lot of files and equipment over the years. It is not one of those modern, open-plan offices you see in movies. It has a lot of separate little rooms and narrow hallways. The paint is a bit dull, and the carpets have seen better days. Still, it is a comfortable place to work once you get settled in. M. D. Road is always packed with traffic and people, so it is quite a contrast when you step inside and the city noise fades a bit. We spend our time handling data and coordinating things over the phone. We are a tight-knit crew, and we usually share our lunch in the small pantry we have. We do not have any big corporate slogans or fancy titles for everyone. We just have our daily lists of things to do and we work through them. It is a steady job in a busy part of town, and that suits us just fine.
