You have to come all the way up to the 7th floor of No. 95 Park Street to find us. It’s a long way up but the view of the street below is actually something. Park Street is always moving and shaking. Up here, it’s a little bit quieter but the work is just as fast as the traffic below. We have a good amount of space but between the cutting tables and the storage, it feels tight sometimes. We handle a lot of different fashion items. It’s mostly about getting the small details right without making a big scene. The elevator in this building has its moods, so we end up walking the stairs sometimes. It keeps us moving. We aren’t a huge corporation. Most of us are just in old shirts trying to get the day’s tasks finished before dark. We drink a lot of tea while we work. It’s a bit of a habit here. The 7th floor gets a nice breeze in the evening if we leave the windows open. We’ve been at this address for a good bit of time now. People in the trade know where to find us. We don’t spend any money on big signs or posters. We just focus on the orders we have on the table. It’s a practical way to run a business. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is breathing down our necks. We are just a group of people doing regular work.
