Our place is at 82/14 on Jawpur Road in Dumdum. If you have ever been to this part of Kolkata, you know it is crowded and full of life. We are tucked away in a spot that is easy to miss if you are not looking for the number. Inside, it is pretty basic—just us, some desks, and a lot of coffee cups. We handle business resources, which basically means we help other companies get their stuff together, whether it is finding staff or managing paperwork. It is not glamorous work, but it keeps the lights on. The road outside is always noisy with buses and bikes, and during the rains, it gets a bit messy, but that is just Dumdum for you. We have a small team, and we have all known each other for years, so the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We do not bother with corporate jargon or long meetings that do not go anywhere. Usually, we just sit down, figure out what the problem is, and try to fix it. The office walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the printer likes to jam at the worst times, but we make it work. It is a local operation through and through. We appreciate the people who walk through our door and try to treat them like neighbors rather than just another contract or a file number.
