Our office is at No- 2/87 in Sree Colony, which is part of the Baghajatin area. We work on elevators and escalators, which means we are often out on sites, but this is the home base where we keep all the records and spare parts. Ashis Sen Elevator & Escalator Engineering has been around for a while. The building isn't new, and the stairs might creak a little, but it serves us well for what we need. We have a small, dedicated team here. Most of the time, the desks are covered in manuals, old logs, and electrical diagrams. Dealing with escalators is a lot of work because they have so many moving pieces that need to be looked after constantly. We keep a good stock of components in the back room so we can grab them quickly when an emergency call comes in. Sree Colony is a quiet enough place, though finding a parking spot can be a bit of a headache during the middle of the day. We don't have a big reception area with a fancy coffee machine or leather sofas. Usually, if you stop by, you'll just find someone on the phone or drinking tea while looking at a service schedule. It’s a real working space, not some polished showroom. We focus on the engineering side of things. If something breaks down in a local building, we are the ones who figure out why and get it running again. It's straightforward and keeps us busy from morning until late at night.
