As Pharmaceuticals

As Pharmaceuticals is our small operation located in Bhawanipur. This part of Kolkata has a very specific feel to it, and we fit right in. We aren't a massive factory or a shiny corporate office. Our space in Bhawanipur is quite simple and functional. We spend most of our hours dealing with the logistics of medicines and talking to different distributors. The streets outside can be quite narrow and noisy, which is typical for this area. We have a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets. Sometimes the phone rings all day and other times it is very quiet. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us making sure the supplies are moving correctly. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit, and we have stacks of papers that need sorting. Living and working in Bhawanipur means we see the same people every day. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t need a map to find our way through the back lanes. It’s a straightforward business. We try to stay on top of the orders that come in. Some days the humidity in Kolkata makes everything feel slow, but we keep going. We just do our bit in the pharmaceutical chain without making a big fuss about it. It’s just a regular workplace for regular people here in Bhawanipur and we are fine with that.
