Arim Ice Cream Indutries Pvt. Ltd. is located at No. 225A on Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Road, right in the Naktala area. Being on a main road like NSC Bose Road means there is always noise from the traffic and the buses going by. We’ve been in this building for some time now. It’s an industrial setup, so it's more about the heavy machines and the big cold rooms than anything else. We have a lot of people coming in and out, mostly workers and delivery drivers trying to get things moved quickly before the ice cream starts to melt. It’s a constant race against the Kolkata heat. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of the heavy-duty cooling systems humming away. We spend a lot of time on maintenance because if one thing breaks, it’s a big problem for everyone. The floors are usually a bit damp from the condensation, and we’re always wearing sweaters even when it’s boiling outside because of the freezer sections. We don’t really do much fancy stuff here. It's about the daily grind of production and making sure the trucks are loaded in the right order. Naktala is a busy place, and being at 225A puts us right in the middle of it all. It’s not always easy, especially when the traffic gets backed up, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of this street over the years.
