Manglam Impex

Our place is at No. 8/2/57-A on the ground floor over on Aurbindo Sarani. Being on the ground floor makes it a lot easier for moving things in and out, which is good because we handle a lot of inventory at Manglam Impex. The street stays pretty busy throughout the day. You might miss the door if you’re driving too fast, but we’ve been here long enough that most people in the neighborhood know where we are. It’s not a huge office, just enough room for the inventory and a couple of desks. We deal with import and export stuff mostly. Some days the paperwork piles up on the corner table and we have to spend the whole afternoon just filing things. It’s just me and a few others here. We don't really do much in terms of decorating. The walls are mostly covered with calendars and maps. Sometimes the tea seller comes by and we take a short break, but mostly we are just checking on shipments and calling up vendors. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic outside on Aurbindo Sarani, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just try to get the orders right and make sure nobody is waiting too long for their goods. It’s basic work, really, but someone has to do it right so things get to their destination.
