We have been based at 2/3, G, Panditya Road for a long time now. It is a familiar corner of Kolkata for us. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we get our work done every day. Mostly, you will find us buried under piles of folders and tax documents. We have a small team here. Most of us have worked together for years, so we know how each other likes their tea and how we handle the busy seasons. It gets quite loud outside with the city traffic, but we are used to that noise by now. People stop by with their accounting questions or just to drop off files they forgot to send. We try to stay on top of all the new rules, though it feels like they change every week. It’s just us here, doing the math and making sure the numbers add up. Sometimes the printer jams right when we are in a hurry, which is always frustrating. We don’t have fancy leather chairs or a big lobby. It is just a practical space where the lights stay on late during March. Being in the 700 029 area means we are close to everything, which helps when we need to run errands. We just show up, do the work, and head home like everyone else. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we need to accomplish without making a big fuss about it.
