Apurba Impex

We are tucked away in Marshall House, which is located at 22 N. S. Road, though some people know the entrance as 33/1. Apurba Impex has been operating out of this building for quite a while now. It’s a busy place with lots of other offices around us. You can always hear people talking in the hallways or the sound of the old lift moving up and down. We deal with imports, mostly, which means our desks are usually covered in customs forms and shipping manifests. It can be a bit overwhelming when three things happen at once, but we manage somehow. The office isn't very big, so we have to be careful about where we stack the incoming boxes. We’ve got a couple of old fans that keep the air moving during the hot months. Working in an older building like Marshall House has its quirks, like the occasional power flicker or a leaky pipe. We know the security guards and the guys who deliver the mail by their first names. It feels like a little world of its own inside here. We don't bother with fancy presentations; we just get the work done. People come to us because they know we’ve been around and we know how the system works. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up to a full day. We just keep at it, trying to stay on top of the paperwork and the shipments.
