Anupaman Engg. Works

Our workshop is located at Plot No. 87 on B.T Road in Khardaha. We are right opposite Prajulla Cinema, which makes it pretty easy for people to find us. It’s an engineering shop, so we deal with a lot of mechanical parts and repairs. The area around B.D Sopam is always busy with people and cars. We’ve been operating here for quite a while now. Inside, it’s mostly machines and grease. We spend our days fixing things that break or making new parts from scratch. It’s not the cleanest environment, but that’s just how engineering works go. We have a lathe machine and some drills. My father started this place years ago. Now I’m the one looking after it mostly. We don’t have any marketing people or anything. If someone needs a job done, they just come by the shop and talk to us directly. It’s a very direct way of doing things. Sometimes we have a lot of work piled up, and other times it's a bit slower. B.T Road is always noisy, but we don't mind. We focus on what’s on the workbench. We see a lot of regular faces from around Khardaha. It’s a small operation, just a few of us getting through the daily tasks. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just the workshop and the tools we use every day. We’re usually here until late evening. This is just what we do to make a living and support ourselves.
