Anisa Creation

Anisa Creation is located at 18 Alimuddin Street. If you’ve ever walked down Alimuddin Street, you know it’s a tight squeeze with a lot of energy. Our shop is right in the middle of all that action. We mostly focus on making things from scratch, so there’s a lot of cutting and pinning going on throughout the day. The space is small, but we make it work. We have shelves stacked high with different materials, and sometimes it’s a struggle to find exactly what you need in the middle of a busy day. The lighting isn't the best, so we use extra lamps over the work tables. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, especially when the iron is going, but we’re used to it. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us here, doing the work and talking to whoever walks through the door. Most of our day is spent listening to the radio and working through piles of fabric. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make a living and provide something useful. Some days are slow and some days we can barely keep up with the work. We’ve been on this street for quite a while now and the neighbors all know us. It’s a simple life and we like the routine of coming in and seeing what needs to be finished before we head home for the evening.
