We have our office set up in Gopal Pur, which is part of the Ganganagar area in the 24 Parganas North district. It’s not a very flashy place, but it works for what we need. The address is Jhowtala, and most people around here can point you in the right direction if you get lost. We have been working out of this spot for quite some time now. Dealing with Amrit Impex means dealing with a few of us who just know the trade. It’s a quiet enough area most days, though the traffic near the Chandigarh pocket can get a bit backed up in the mornings. We don't have any big corporate signs or a fancy lobby. It is mostly just desks, some storage space for samples, and a lot of ledgers. My brother helps with the logistics and I handle the paperwork for the most part. The weather can get pretty hot here in the summer, so the ceiling fans are always going. We don't really do the whole marketing thing. Most of our work comes from long-standing connections we have made over the years. We just focus on getting the goods moved from point A to point B without any fuss. It is a simple life and a simple business. We like the neighborhood because it’s where we grew up. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we usually take our breaks. It’s just a normal local business.
