Amitra Sudan Saha

Amitra Sudan Saha is based right here in Kolkata. I don’t have a fancy office in a skyscraper. I just work from my place in the city. Kolkata is a massive place, and it’s full of history. Every street has a story. I’ve lived here all my life, so I don’t really know anything else. My work is pretty straightforward. I sit at my old wooden desk and get through whatever needs doing that day. The city outside is always loud with taxis honking and people shouting, but I’ve learned to tune it out. Sometimes I go for a walk by the river to clear my head. It helps me focus. I don’t use any big marketing tricks. I just do what I do and people seem to find me. It’s a very human way of doing things. I like meeting people face to face when I can. A cup of chai and a good conversation go a long way. My setup is simple and a bit cluttered, to be honest. There are papers everywhere and my pens are always running out. But I know where everything is. It’s my system and it works. Living in Kolkata means you have to be patient. Everything takes time, from the traffic to the paperwork. I’ve learned to just go with the flow. It’s a busy city, but there’s room for everyone to do their thing. I stay here because it feels right to me.
