Amar Cooling Industries

Chakerberia Road (N) is one of those places where you really have to know where you are going to find us. We are at 46-B, tucked in among a lot of other buildings in this part of town. Amar Cooling Industries has been operating here for a good while. The Kolkata weather basically makes our work necessary, so there is always something to fix or put together in the shop. The space isn't huge, but we make it work by stacking things carefully and staying organized. Most mornings start with us moving units around so we can actually get to the workbenches. It gets a bit noisy with the fans and the metal tools, but the neighbors have grown used to us over the years. We have a few staff members who have been here since the very beginning. They know exactly where every spare part is kept. We mostly deal with cooling parts and getting units ready for whoever needs them. It involves a lot of manual work and getting our hands dirty. Sometimes the delivery vans have a tough time maneuvering through the narrow street, but we always manage to get them loaded. We do not have a fancy website or anything like that. People mostly just drop by the shop or call us on the landline. It is more of a walk-in kind of vibe here. We take our tea breaks outside when the sun isn't too brutal on the street.
