Alliant Placements

Our office is tucked away in Binayak Enclave on Kalicharan Ghosh Road. We are in Flat-104 in Block-I, so it’s basically an apartment that we’ve turned into a workspace. Working in placements means our phones are almost always ringing and there are piles of resumes sitting on the desks. We spend a lot of time talking to people about their jobs and looking through listings to see what fits. It can be a bit repetitive, but it’s what we do. The area around 700050 is pretty busy, and the road outside can get noisy with all the traffic and horns. Inside the enclave, it's a bit more peaceful, which helps when we're trying to conduct interviews or make important calls. We have a few computers and some filing cabinets that are probably overdue for a cleanup. There isn’t a big reception desk or anything formal; it’s just a regular living space where we’ve set up our equipment. We usually take turns making tea for the small group of us here. Sometimes candidates come in looking a bit nervous, and we just sit them down on the sofa while they wait for their turn. It’s a very local operation, and we like being in this part of Kolkata. There’s always someone coming in or going out, and by the end of the day, we’re usually ready to head home and get away from the screens. It's just a normal day at the office for us.
