A.K.Engineers

Located over on New Raipur Road in the Garia area, our office is right in the middle of a typical South Kolkata neighborhood. Being near the Jadavpur police station means there’s always something happening outside. This branch of A.K.Engineers isn’t much to look at from the street. It’s an old building with a narrow staircase that leads up to our workspace. We have a lot of metal cabinets filled with old records and a few computers that have seen better days. The light isn’t great in some of the rooms, but we’ve got enough lamps to see what we’re doing. Working here means hearing the trains occasionally or the constant honking from the main road. We do a lot of site visits, so the office is often half-empty during the middle of the day. When we are all here, it’s mostly just us arguing over blueprints or drinking tea while waiting for a phone call. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to make us look professional on the internet. We are just engineers and draftsmen who know our way around a project. The floors are a bit uneven, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise on high speed, but it’s our home base. Garia is a busy spot, and we fit right in with the other small businesses on the block. We just try to get the work out on time and keep things moving forward. It is just a regular job for us.
